
Archery GB Membership | Entrants must declare their Archery GB membership number on the entry form and membership cards must be shown when registering on the day. Failure to do so will result in you not being allowed to shoot. |
Drug testing | All archers will be liable for drugs testing and competitors approached to give samples must comply. Refusal will be treated as a positive result. Parents or guardians must authorise drugs testing of junior archers by signing the entry form. |
Dress Regulation Rule 307 | For record status events there are dress regulations in place that have to be followed by all competitors. These are set out in the Rules of Shooting, but can be summarised as: • Tops must cover the front and back of the body (that is, they are not strapless). • Any colour clothing is permitted, except for blue denim, olive drab, and camouflage patterns. • Plain or archery-related clothing is recommended. • Footwear must cover the whole foot (no open-toed sandals or shoes are allowed). |
Special Note | Please ensure that the organiser is aware of any special requirements you may have. Please do not assume that we already know. Archers who are unable to get to the target are requested, if possible, to arrange for an assistant to aid in scoring and arrow collection. If this is not possible, then please contact the organiser for advice. |
Photography | In view of the provisions of the Archery GB Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy, those who wish to take photographs at this event are to register with the tournament organiser. Gloucestershire Archery Society will take all steps to ensure that photographs are only used for the purposes they are intended. |

Please allow time before Assembly for equipment inspection. ENTRY FEES: £12.00 per session.
This tournament will be shot using foam bosses and H type legs. Compounds will shoot 3 spot faces (3 spot faces available for other bow styles by request).
Shooting will be in timed ends taking no more than 2 minutes. No substitutes.
The FIRST ROUND only to count for the Tournament Results, if shooting a Double Portsmouth.
If you wish to take photographs during the tournament please sign the Photo Register on arrival.
All Archers must comply with Archery GB dress regulations. Shooting in accordance with Archery GB Rules of Shooting. All competitors must be affiliated to Archery GB and must have their Membership Card with them. GAS will not accept liability for damaged carbon, aluminum or wooden arrows. This Record Status Shoot will be liable for drug testing and competitors approached to give samples must comply; if they refuse, that refusal will be treated as a positive result. Written parental consent to this procedure must be provided on the Entry Form for juniors. AWARDS will be made for a Single Portsmouth only.
Trophies are available for Gloucestershire Champions, Ladies and Gents for Longbow, Barebow, Recurve and Compound, plus a Glos Team Trophy. Gold, Silver or Bronze Medals will be awarded in all other categories as appropriate. There is Glos Team Trophy, Teams of 3 archers from the same Club, only one archer may be a compound; any number of teams may be entered.
Visitors will compete separately for Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals. A Visitors Team Competition will be run on demand, awards will be Gold Medals for the winning team only.
Juniors are welcome to shoot on an equal basis for the Adult Awards, and will also be able to claim any Records shot.
The GAS Trophies and other prizes will be awarded on the basis of the Results of the Meeting. No archer will be eligible to receive more than one award (apart from team awards). Only Members of GAS whose names have been registered with the Hon Secretary are eligible to compete for County Titles.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your entry more than 7 days prior to the start of the tournament we will charge a £5 administration fee on a refund, unfortunately we are not able to refund the cost of the tournament fee cancelled with less than 7 days notice.
A substitute who meets the criteria for the tournament can be named at any time before the closing date.
Fitness and Risks
All participants must declare their fitness, existing injuries and/or any medical or other conditions, you may not be able to take part / shoot even if you have booked and paid.
All participants must confirm that:
a) they will pay attention to the safety briefing at the start of the tournament regarding the risks involved; in the event that they miss the briefing it is their responsibility to discuss these issues with the tournament organiser prior to start of shooting; and they must follow all instructions throughout the tournament.
b) That they accept that these activities can be dangerous and can result in injury and
c) That they accept the risks involved and are responsible for their own actions and behaviour.
Photography
We reserve the right to use photographs or video taken at this event in publicity and promotional materials - printed and online. A person who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the course organiser in writing at the start of the tournament.
