Supporting the Mental Well-Being of Archers

Mental health and well-being are becoming ever more relevant topic of conversation within sport, not least due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. This workshop will explore the importance of athlete mental health. Current challenges in addressing mental health and well-being in sport, and how coaches can play a key role in supporting their archers. This workshop is suitable for any coach (or safeguarding officer etc.) who desires to know more ab out how they can support archers and fellow coaches within their club or county. As archery clubs and counties begin to regroup after a sustained (and perhaps stressful) break, it is particularly valuable for coaches to have the knowledge and confidence to provide support when needed. No prior knowledge of the topic is required to attend this workshop.
